All About Your Mindset

The mind is an amazing creation! It has the power to remember/forget your past, change your present, and create your future. The mind is willing to do whatever you command it to do. So why is it that some people can command their minds to create the life they desire and yet others have no idea where to start? It all boils down to your mindset.

Your mindset is often created and supported by your circles of influence. These are the people that you spend most of your time with. Suppose that you spend most of your time with five friends that are all wandering aimlessly through society. Would it be surprising that you are aimless friend number six? You are a culmination of the people that you spend most of your time with. If you are not getting the results that you desire, consider modifying your associations.

Also, there are countless individuals that are chemically fixated and are totally unaware of it. High fructose corn syrup, the main ingredient in soft drinks, candy, and nearly all manufactured products that are sweet in nature, is a chemical that is consumed in staggering amounts each day. This manufactured sweetener takes a toll on the brain and human body because the brain does not know how to process it in the digestive process. It sends the chemical to the love-handle or core area of the body for temporary storage while the brain figures out what to do with it. Guess what, the brain never figures it out though so it complies in the core area of the body. As a result, bloated stomachs, fatty side pockets, and weight gain occurs because in addition to the sweetener storage, the corn syrup also confuses the brain as to whether the body is full or not. Excessive eating occurs as a result. This is why a person can lose a lot of weight by simply giving up soft drinks and increasing water consumption. This and other chemicals block the productivity and focus that our brains are intended to create.

This is just one aspect of mindset because what you put into the body has a profound affect on what comes out. Make it a priority to eliminate or at least minimize your soft drink consumption and you will feel so much better. And once you feel better, your creative juices will start to flow once again.

Be blessed,
